Throughout my childhood I was a member of the scouting movement and attended Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorer Scouts before then volunteering to help run the scout group. Being involved with the movement has meant that being outside and camping is a large part of my life, and there is no better way to connect with the outdoors than pitching a tent and spending some time relaxing with friends. An overnight stay isn’t even necessary to have a good time, just use the tent as a base to explore an area on a day out or somewhere to sit and shelter while you eat lunch.

Abbots Pool is a woodland area just a few miles from central Bristol and is a beautiful place to spend an afternoon just sitting and relaxing, we used the tent to just store our bags in plain sight while we walked the around and enjoyed the day
