Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt

Words & Images: George Bale

Half a century ago the city of Sharm el-Sheikh was just desert and a few small buildings for fishermen. Now a days it is known as the 'Pearl of the Red Sea Riviera' and is a bustling city full of bars, clubs, resorts and casinos. This short film aims to show the drastic and sudden change the area has gone through in the past decades.

Music credit to 'Deptford Goth' for his song 'Life After Defo' and also to 'Bastille' for the acoustic version of the song 'Pompeii'.
